Useful calculators, visible assumptions.
This site is built around a simple rule: exact math should be exact, and project-specific assumptions should be visible.
What we build
We create focused calculators for common home and DIY planning tasks. The tool is the primary product on each calculator page; supporting explanations show the formula, important limitations and the source of any variable reference data.
We do not create a separate thin page for every wording variation of the same calculation. Related search terms are consolidated when they represent the same user task.
How trust is handled
Exact conversions and geometry are tested in code. Values that can change by material, product, supplier or region are either editable, source-labeled or intentionally omitted as defaults. The Methodology explains the calculation policy and Sources & Data lists the main references used by launch tools.
Corrections
If a formula, source or explanation needs correction, use the contact page. Corrections should be traceable to the affected calculator and, when relevant, to the source or product specification being updated.
